Yes, recently BK introduced cheesy tots at selected locations shortly after 2016. The cheesy tots join BK items like Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, and onion rings.
Honestly, I tried it out and it was described as a “signature coin-shaped tater tot with melty cheese filling” with a crisp exterior and a gummy interior.
According to Pop Sugar, in 2016 BK first time introduced cheese tots to emphasize cheese in every dish. But later in August 2017, BK took a step back from the decision that took last year. Same time BK introduced breakfast with traditional offerings.
